(HOWARD TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash in Southwest Michigan injured three people.
Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says his department was called out to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Reum Street and M-60 in Howard Township, Sunday at 4:48 PM.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by 24 year old Levi Livermore of Niles was making a turn from M-60 onto Reum Street when he lost control, hit two street signs and then a vehicle. 59 year old Larry Robinson of Buchanan was heading east on Reum Street when his vehicle was struck by Livermore’s.
Robinson’s passenger, Tammy Robinson along with Livermore, were treated at the scene for injuries.
Larry Robinson was taken by ambulance to Lakeland Niles Hospital for the injuries he sustained in the crash.
Deputies say alcohol was a factor in the crash, which is still being investigated. It’s unknown if all parties were wearing their seat belts.
Assisting at the scene were the Howard Township Fire Department, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office and the SMCAS Ambulance Service.
