(ONTWA TOWNSHIP) – A woman has been arrested on drug related charges.

At 10 AM on Friday, the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team conducted a joint investigation with the Michigan Department of Corrections and responded to a residence in the 70,000 block of Elkhart Road in Ontwa Township.

While searching the home detectives located methamphetamine. A 37 year old woman was arrested for possession of meth.

The woman’s name has not been released, pending her arraignment in Cass County District Court.

The investigation is continuing, with assistance from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Ontwa Police Department.
