(MASON TOWNSHIP) – A two state pursuit ended with the arrest of two individuals.

Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says just before 1AM Saturday, deputies were called to a larceny from a motor vehicle complaint on Kristy Lane in Mason Township.

When deputies arrived, the located a stolen vehicle and then suspect vehicle, which fled the scene and led officers on a pursuit into Indiana, coming to a stop in the Elkhart area. The two juvenile suspects ran away, but were followed by deputies and taken into custody.

Investigators determined the vehicle driven by the suspects was stolen. They also recovered a firearm and other stolen property.

Due to the age of the juveniles, their named will not be released.
