(LAGRANGE) – Sealed bids were opened that were submitted for a road project in LaGrange County.

Monday morning, LaGrange County Highway Engineer Tharon Morgan started off by going over the project for the LaGrange County Commission. ...... {LISTEN}.

Morgan then opened the bids and shared them with the Commissioners. API submitted a bid of $5,312,414. Brooks was at $4,838,005. EMB Paving had a bid of $5,972,910, while Niblock Excavating was at $4,717,606.20. Phend and Brown submitted a bid of $4,818,440.25.

The Commissioners unanimously approved Morgan’s request.

Morgan says the project is partially matched with Community Crossings 2025-1 Grants. The work will be done in 2026.
