(STURGIS) – The Sturgis City Commission has set a public hearing to discuss the millage rates for 2025.

For 2024, the Sturgis millage rate was 11.0800 mills and the Streets and Sidewalks millage was 2.9967.

Rhodes says by advertising at the highest rate, the Commission can always approve a millage rate below the highest rate without any problems if they decide to.

The Commission approved the millage rates at the proposed amounts. A public hearing on the rates will be held during the Commission’s meeting on June 23.
