Three Rivers tops Charlotte 36-0 in home and season opener
(THREE RIVERS) – Host Three Rivers beat Charlotte 36-0 in the Wildcats’ home and season opener at Armstrong Field. Three Rivers has 317 yards of total offense, with 251 of that on the ground. Lamonta Stone led the rushing attack with 15 carries for 175 yards and 2 touchdowns. Mason Awe had 4 carries for 35 yards and a touchdown and was also 4 of 5 through the air for 57 yards and a touchdown. Landon Moreland had 8 tackles while Jace Gray and Colton Westcomb each had 6 tackles. It was also the first win for new Wildcats’ head coach Jeff Awe. Three Rivers will travel to Adrian next Friday.
