(STURGIS) – The Sturgis girls basketball team jumped out to an early lead but couldn’t hold on as they lost to Vicksburg 72-45 in Wolverine Conference play. Cora Phillips led the Lady Trojans with 13 points. Sydney Bir had 12 points while Madison Webb and Angela Cary each had 6 points. Sturgis is now 4-5 overall and 1-4 in the Wolverine Conference.
