(BATTLE CREEK) - Down 27-25 at halftime, the Sturgis girls basketball team clamped down defensively and got more shots to fall as they rallied to beat the Lakeview Spartans 45-40 in their Division 1 District semifinal game. Sydney Bir led the Lady Trojans with 14 points. (LISTEN ABOVE). ?Kinder Smith had 11 points while Angela Cary had 8 points. Lakeview ends their season at 13-12. Sturgis improves to 19-3 and will face Coldwater in the District Title game on Friday.
