Suspect Named In Fatal Car Crash

(CENTREVILLE) – Authorities have released more information on a fatal crash that happened in Florence Township.
St. Joseph County Prosecutor David Marvin says 22 year old Rayheim Robinson of White Pigeon is charged with two counts of second degree murder, two counts of reckless driving causing death and two counts of first degree fleeing an officer along with driving on a suspended license causing death.
At 9:30 AM on November 3, the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a crash on Sevison Road near the intersection of Mintdale Road. Deputies determined that Robinson was driving north on Sevison Road when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line and struck a southbound pick up head on.
The driver of the pick up, 60 year old Ronda Arndt and her husband, 51 year old Shawn Arndt, both of Constantine, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Robinson was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
St. Joseph County Undersheriff Jason Bingaman says before the crash,
deputies tried to stop Robinson on U.S. 131 but were not able to do so.
