(BATTLE CREEK) – In a rare Saturday game, the Colon football team traveled to Battle Creek and lost to St. Philip 44-30 in an SCAA Red Division 8 man match up. Jonny Greenwald had 30 carries for 132 yards and 2 TD’s for the Magi. Jeremiah West was 4 for 13 for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns. Carter Persons had 2 receptions for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns. On defense, Davis Lafler led the way with 12 tackles. Parker Nystrom, Jabari Falls and Ayden Delp each had 7 tackles. Colon is now 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the Red Division. B.C.
