Sturgis Historical Society 50th Anniversary of the Sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald

The Sturgis Historical Society presents a very special event on this the 50th Anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald! Sunday afternoon, November 2nd at 3 p.m. Sturgis native Gene Quirin, an underwater photographer and who was on the team that dove to retrieve the Fitzgerald's bell will be on hand to discuss the mission. The event is being held at The Depot in downtown Sturgis and the public is invited.
