Indiana Barn Foundation LaGrange Barn Tour
Saturday, September 13, 2025
Mark your calendars for an unforgettable journey through the heart of Amish Country. Join the 2025 Indiana Barn Foundation Barn Tour in LaGrange County this fall! The Shipshewana/LaGrange County Convention and Visitors Bureau is thrilled to announce a self-guided tour showcasing historic barns around LaGrange on Saturday, September 13, from 10am - 5pm.
The tour will begin at the Pretty Valley Barn in LaGrange, owned by Steve and Deanna Engleking. Built in the 1940s to milk 40 Jersey cows, the barn was constructed of concrete mixed on site and poured using wheelbarrows and ramps. It includes a mechanical gutter system, four freshening stalls, a milk house, and a granary. Today, the barn serves as storage and a workshop for the owner of the 7.5-acre farmstead.
Visitors will find plenty of activities on both Friday and Saturday. Stop by the Visitors Center or find staff on location on the Barn Tour for free guides, brochures, and advice on events.
