(UNION CITY) - In a battle of Branch County and Big 8 rivals, host Union City beat Bronson 22-14, winning "The Shield" traveling trophy for a fifth straight year. The Vikings outgained the host Chargers in total yards 326-200. Owen Losinski threw for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns. Reid Stukey had 20 carries for 125 yards in the loss. Bronson is now 1-2 overall and in the Big 8 while Union City is 3-0.
