(COLDWATER) - Insight Hospital & Medical Center Coldwater is inviting area residents and families to its upcoming Community Health Festival.
The event will be on Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM until 2 PM at 370 East Chicago Road in Coldwater. The free community event will bring together health resources, local organizations, family activities, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with healthcare providers.
Event Coordinator Courtney Bean says healthcare is about more than treating illness. It is about building relationships, providing resources, and helping our community live healthier lives. Bean says the goal is to create an event where families can have fun, meet members of our healthcare team, learn about local resources, and take advantage of free health services.
Festival activities will include: Free health screenings and health information; Health and service information from Insight Coldwater and community organizations; Provider meet-and-greet opportunities; Kids' games and a bounce house; A free children's bike raffle; Live music from Pomegranate Whiskey Band; Therapy animals; And more family-friendly activities throughout the day.
Community members will also have the opportunity to connect with local vendors and organizations, ask questions, learn about available healthcare services, and discover resources available throughout the area.
