(BUTLER TOWNSHIP) - A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Homer man.
Michigan State Police were called to a two-vehicle crash at 6 PM Thursday on Clarendon Road near County Line Road in Branch County's Butler Township.
Troopers say their preliminary investigation indicates that a motorcycle was entering the roadway from a private drive when it struck a northbound Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The driver of the motorcycle, 24-year-old Brandon Frederick, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
The driver of the Jeep was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation.
