(GARRETT) - A Kendallville man who was wanted on a nationwide extradition warrant has been arrested.
On Monday at 1:50 PM, officers with the Indiana State Police and the Garrett Police Department arrested 32-year-old Ryan J. Kilburn at the Shell Gas Station on Randolph Street in Garrett.
The arrest warrant was issued by the Department of Corrections and stemmed from a theft case originating in Noble County.
Indiana State Police say they were helped in the arrest by speaking with several individuals, receiving assistance from the public, utilizing social media and with help from Chief Heffelfinger and the Garrett Police.
Kilburn was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held in the Noble County Jail.
