(BRONSON) - The City of Bronson is getting new street signs.
During Monday's meeting, the Bronson City Council was presented with the proposal to get new street signs by City Manager Brandon Mersman.
Mersman says many of the City street signs are faded and need replacing. The current purple signs with the Viking logo, that have been highly prone to fading over time and have not held up well. Mersman says City staff is in favor of returning to a standard white sign with black lettering which will hopefully help prevent fading and maximize longevity.
Mersman says they will need to order 213 signs. They received quotes from two companies and the low bid was from Dornbus Signs at a price of $9,782.
The City Council unanimously approved the recommendation.
