(BATTLE CREEK) - The date for Carrie VanDeventer-Douponce's preliminary hearing has been changed.
Calhoun County District Court officials say that VanDeventer-Douponce's preliminary hearing, originally scheduled for July 22 is now scheduled to take place on August 11.
The 49 year old VanDeventer-Douponce has been arrested on a charge of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and another charge of Fourth Degree Child Abuse.
VanDeventer-Douponce was able to post a $5,000 bond.
