(STURGIS) - A Sturgis business says they may have room for some of the displaced Sturgis Hospital employees.
In a posting on their Facebook page, Thurston Woods Village is expressing their support for all associated with Sturgis Hospital and their announcement to close. As a fellow health care provider, Thurston Woods has a long standing and storied relationship with Sturgis Hospital; and they appreciate the opportunity to partner with them to provide quality care to the people living in the Sturgis community.
While the post says Thurston Woods is disappointed that it has become necessary for Sturgis Hospital to end operations, Thurston Woods understands the challenges they face and are confident that the hospital would only take this action if absolutely necessary.
Thurston Woods Village is the largest health care employer in the Sturgis area, with over 200 employees serving 270 residents on their Sturgis and Coldwater campuses.
With that being said, Thurston Woods Village is hoping they can support some of the Sturgis Hospital employees who are dealing with uncertainty at this time. Thurston Woods has opportunities available in several health disciplines including: Licensed Nurses (RN/LPN); CNA (Certified Nursing Assistants); Rehabilitation (PT/OT/SLP and PTA/COTA); Medication Technicians/Caregivers; and Maintenance, Housekeeping, Culinary and other support services
You can visit the Thurston Woods website for their current job openings and to complete an application. The website is thurstonwoods.org/careers.
