(HOWARD TOWNSHIP) - A Northern Indiana woman was injured in a one vehicle crash in Southern Michigan.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office was called out to a single vehicle crash at 1:30 PM Friday on Yankee Street south of Wolf Road in Howard Township.
Deputies determined that 27 year old Rebecca Shaffer of Elkhart was driving east on Yankee Street when her vehicle left the road on the north side and struck a tree.
Shaffer was transported by SMCAS Ambulance to Beacon Granger Hospital to be treated for her injuries. Also assisting at the scene was the Howard Township Fire Department.
