Sturgis girls tennis team wins Regional Title

(STURGIS) - The Sturgis girls tennis team hosted their Division 3 Regional, and came away with the Regional Title, collecting 28 points on the day. Parma Western was second with 25 points and Vicksburg finished third with 16 points. Winning Regional Championships for the Lady Trojans were Cora Phillips at First Singles, Gracie Perry at Second Singles, Bella Currier at Fourth Singles and the Fourth Doubles team of Lilly Whitehead and Stella Barry. Finishing second in their flights were Mazie Sterling at Third Singles; the First Doubles team of Mya Eicher and Katelyn Halling; Marlee Smith and Hannah Ritchie at Second Doubles; and the Third Doubles team of Ella Whitehead and Bailey Cates.
