(PORTER TOWNSHIP) - Four people were injured when the vehicle they were in struck a deer.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office says at 9:20 PM Saturday deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on M-40 in Porter Township.
Authorities say 65 year old Elizabeth Weber of Edwardsburg was traveling north when a herd of deer entered the roadway, causing Weber to collide with one of the deer.
Weber and her three passengers, 38 year old Lizabeth Armstrong of Edwardsburg, along with two children, were all taken by SEPSA Ambulance Service to Beacon Health Three Rivers to be treated for their injuries.
The Newberg Fire Department assisted at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
