(GARRETT) - A Kendallville man was killed in a one vehicle crash.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office says 25 year old Tristan Boyles was driving east in the 500 block of County Road 52 at 7 AM Sunday when he drove off the southbound side of the road and struck a utility pole. The vehicle rolled onto its top and came to rest in the high water along the side of the roadway.
Boyles was removed from his automobile by the Garrett Fire Department and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Also assisting were the Garrett Police Department and the Parkview EMS. The crash is still under investigation.
