(COLDWATER) - Sentence has been given to a woman for smuggling drugs into the Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater.

Branch County Circuit Court officials say 57 year old Della Williams of Detroit has been sentenced to 19 months to 10 years in prison, after pleading guilty to possession of meth.

According to the Michigan Department of Corrections, officers found a package that was hidden in a public lobby restroom. It was dusted for fingerprints and authorities found Williams prints on the package. It had several balloons filled with cocaine, meth and fentanyl. A lab test also discovered marijuana, marijuana wax and suboxone.

Williams had been at the prison to visit her husband who was an inmate.

She has been transported to the Huron Valley Correctional Facility where she will serve her sentence.
