(STURGIS) - The Sturgis girls track team started their season with a home win over Three Rivers 94-43 in a balanced team effort. The Lady Trojans swept the 100 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles, led by Juliet Mendoza, Kenzie Eicher and Ziah Morales. They also swept the high jump led by Angela Cary, Kenzie Eicher and Paige Miller. Then in the 1600 meters, Sturgis swept that event, led by Tessa Hatt, Lulu Park and Eleanor Park. The Lady Trojans also swept all four relay events. In addition, Sydney Bir was first in the 400 meters and Hatt was first in the 800 meters.
