(FORT WAYNE) - A man is in custody after leading Fort Wayne Police on a chase Wednesday morning in a Fort Wayne Community Schools bus.
Police say no students were on board. An officer first spotted the bus driving erratically and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver refused to pull over. The pursuit ended near International Park, close to South Coliseum Boulevard and East Pontiac Street at the former International Harvester plant.
When the bus finally stopped, the driver refused to get out. Crisis negotiators were called in and eventually convinced him to surrender. He was taken into custody without further incident. Charges have not yet been announced.
