(EDWARDSBURG) - Host Edwardsburg jumped out to a 17-2 lead after one quarter and went on to beat Sturgis 44-32 in Wolverine Conference boys basketball. The Trojans did cut the gap in the third quarter, but didn't have enough firepower to get a lead. Gavin Lewis led Sturgis with a game high 15 points and 8 rebounds. (LISTEN ABOVE). Lukis Bir and Fernando Villasan each had 6 points. Sturgis is now 8-10 overall and 4-9 in the Wolverine Conference. Edwardsburg improves to 13-6 and 8-4 in the Conference.
