(LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP) - Authorities have released the name of the victim in a weekend camper fire.
St. Joseph County Sheriff Chad Spence says the victim has been identified as 67-year-old Juanita Kimble of the Three Rivers area.
The Sheriff's Office along with fire personnel were dispatched to a camper fire in the 57,000 block of Mitchell Road in Lockport Township early Saturday morning.
When they arrived, first responders were met with a fully involved fire, which continued to burn and additional crews had to be called to the scene. Spence says they received information that a woman was inside the camper.
Despite their best efforts, Kimble succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Spence says there doesn't appear to be any foul play involved in Kimble's death.
