SJC Sheriffs Office Honors Veterans On Staff

(CENTREVILLE) - A special ceremony was held Monday to honor members of the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office.

In recognition of Veterans Day, Sheriff Chad Spence and the Sheriff's Office proudly honor the dedicated men and women of the Department who have served our nation in the United States Armed Forces.

 Spence says the courage, sacrifice and commitment demonstrated by our veterans continue to inspire everyone at the Sheriff's Office. He says they are grateful for their service to our country and their continued service to the people of St. Joseph County.

The Sheriff's Office recognizes the following members of the department for their military service.

 In the Law Enforcement Services Division: Undersheriff Dave Northrop (United States Marine Corps); Detective Sergeant Kevin Brooks (United States Army); Sergeant Kevin Penn (United States Marine Corps); Detective Davantae Jennings (United States Marine Corps); Deputy Clay Hoggard (United States Army) and Deputy TJ Baker (United States Marine Corps).

In the Corrections Division: Captain Troy Faulk (United States Air Force); Sergeant Kyle Rice (United States Army); Deputy Mike Middaugh (United States Army); Deputy Brandon Broker (United States Army) and Deputy Justin Pratt (United States Navy).

The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office extends its heartfelt appreciation to these individuals and all veterans throughout the community for their service and dedication to protecting our freedoms.
