Sturgis boys beat Otsego 50-46

(STURGIS) - Down throughout the game, the host Sturgis boys basketball team took a late lead and held on to beat Otsego 50-46 in Wolverine Conference play. Gavin Lewis led the Trojans with 18 points and 16 rebounds along with taking 2 charges. Owen Frost had 8 points, Becket Lamb had 7 points and Carter Oswald and 6 points including the go ahead bucket late in the fourth quarter. (LISTEN ABOVE). With the win Sturgis improves to 6-7 overall and 3-6 in the Wolverine Conference. Otsego falls to 5-6 and 3-5 in the conference. In the JV game, Sturgis won 55-51 and the Sturgis freshman team lost 51-44/
