(CENTREVILLE) - A final budget has been approved for the renovation project at the Centreville Courts Building.
Tuesday evening, the St. Joseph County Commission was presented with the final budget by The Barton Group.
Jennifer Sawyer presented the budget. She says Frederick Construction looked over all the bids and there was good coverage among the trades. She says Frederck thoroughly vetted the contractors.
The total budget for the project is $12,422,976.79. It was approved by a vote of 4-3.
Commission Chairman Jared Hoffmaster says they are hoping that the project can be completed in the 18 months it's projected to take.
