(HOWARD TOWNSHIP) - A Niles man was injured in a car versus pedestrian crash over the weekend.
Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says just after 8 PM Sunday, deputies were called out to an accident in Howard Township.
Deputies determined that 36 year old Stephanie Clark of Berrien Center, Michigan was driving south on Huntly Drive near Reese Drive when she struck a man who was wearing all dark clothing walking south in the lane of travel.
The man, identified as 21 year old Jordan Gillaspy of Niles, was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated for the injuries he sustained in the crash.
Assisting at the scene were the Howard Township Fire Department, Michigan State Police and the SMCAS Ambulance Service.
