(STURGIS) – Edwardsburg jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 42-13 Wolverine Conference win over host Sturgis. The Trojans were held out of the end zone until midway through the third quarter when Kaicee Kyle rushed in for a touchdown. ...... {LISTEN}. Sturgis would score again in the fourth on a touchdown pass of 51 yards from Beckett Lamb to Darren Speelman. Lamb was 10 of 12 for 122 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Speelman had 8 receptions for 110 yards and a score while Kyle had 14 caries for 104 yards and a touchdown. Hudson Lamb led the defense with 4.5 tackles while Gavin Lewis and Beckett Lamb each had 4 tackles. Sturgis is now 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the Wolverine Conference. Edwardsburg is now 3-0 and 1-0.
