Four People Injured In Two Vehicle Crash

(PORTER TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash injured four people, with three sent to the hospital.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says at 5:44 PM Friday, 39 year old Christopher Bingaman of Constantine was driving north on M-40 in Porter Township. A second vehicle, driven by 22 year old Thomas Yoder of Shipshewana was driving east on Shavehead Lake Street and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, and the two vehicles collided.
Bingaman’s vehicle left the road and came to rest in a field.
Bingaman along with his passengers, 39 year old Matthew Walter of Three Rivers and a juvenile, were transported by Porter Ambulance to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo to be treated for the injuries they sustained in the crash.
Yoder was treated at the scene by Newberg Fire and EMS along with SEPSA EMS personnel. The crash remains under investigation.
