LaGrange County Honors Fallen Officers With Banners

(LAGRANGE) – Four fallen police officers will be remembered forever by banners that are hanging in downtown LaGrange. .

Spice was trying to apprehend an armed robbery suspect when he was shot by the suspect and died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Waldron was responding to a report of a reckless driver, and his cruiser was rammed by the suspect. Waldron, and everyone in the suspect’s vehicle died at the scene.
Cushing was answering a call for a cage car to assist a deputy who was dealing with an incorrigible subject. The vehicle Cushing was riding in collided with the back of a semi tractor trailer and he died at the scene.
Dueter was on a routine traffic stop on the Indiana Toll Road, and was struck by a semi. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
