Indiana Archaeological Society Prehistoric Indian Artifact Show

The Indiana Archaeological Society is holding a special Prehistoric Indian Artifact Show on Saturday, September 28th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lagrange Church of God, 777 N. Detroit Street. Free admission. Doors open at 7 a.m. Awards will be presented in the following categories:
PLAQUES: Best of Show. Best Personal Found Artifact, (Voted on by the public). Three host excellence awards too.
PLAQUETES: Best Personal Found Collection. Best Bannerstones. Best Axes and Celts. Best Flintridge Material. Best Indian Green. Best Birdstones. Best Slate. Best Educational and other host awards.
ROSETTES: Best Junior Collection, and First time to show.
For table reservations call Marvin Hoover at 260-350-2446. Table fees are $15.00 for the first table, and $10.00 for each additional table. Exhibitors must have a current IAS or CSAS card to display at Indiana shows. The IAS policy giving the purchaser of an artifact the right to return it for a full refund the day of the show will be in effect. No reproduction of fake artifacts are to be displayed or sold. Breakfast and lunch will be available on the premises.
