(UNDATED) – It was a busy weekend for the Sturgis wrestling team. On Saturday the boys were at the Portage Central Corey Fuller Memorial Invitational, while the Lady Trojans and the boys JV teams were at the Holt Invitational. For the boys, the Trojans finished 5tha on the day in Portage. Cooper Barkby was third (106, while Easton Barkby (113) and Jacob Lewis (144) were both fourth. For the Lady Trojans, Lola Barkby was first (126) while Giovanna Cruz and Alhalia Charney were both second. For the JV boys, Elias Cardiel was first (192) as was Joshua Ramirez (129) while Jayden Luna was second and Juna Pablo Soto was third.
