(BURR OAK) – The host Burr Oak girls basketball team picked up a win over Colon 44-28. Braylyn Hernandez had 26 points, 6 steals and 2 rebounds for the Lady Bobcats. Cristal Hernandez added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists while Elaine Holtom had 5 points and 8 steals. Leading the way for Colon was Raegan Thaxton with 9 points and 12 rebounds. Allison Vinson had 8 points and 14 rebounds while Lily Preston added 8 points and 4 steals. Burr Oak improves to 3-0 while Colon is now 1-3.
