Constantine beats No. 10 Olivet 30-24 for District Title
(OLIVET) – Host Olivet scored first, but after that Constantine scored 21 straight points to take a lead they would never loose, and go on to beat the host and No. 10 Eagles 38-24 to win a Division 6 District Championship. Constantine’s defense added to the team’s lead in the second quarter thanks to some great defense. The Falcons had 353 yards of total offense, all on the ground. Brody Jones had 20 carries for 124 yards on the night. Cooper McGee had 10 carries for 77 yards and a touchdown on the night, along with the interception returned for a touchdown. ...... {LISTEN}. Cooper Juday had 9 carries for 71 yards. Evan Davidhizar led the Falcons’ defense with 7 tackles along with a fumble recovery for a TD. Bear Geibe added 6 stops. Olivet ends their season at 8-3. Constantine improves to 8-3 and will take on No. 1 Jackson Lumen Christi in a Regional Championship game next weekend. The Titans beat Ida 49-28 to win a District title.
