(STURGIS) – It wasn’t the Homecoming game the Sturgis football team was hoping for as they lost to visiting Vicksburg 49-6 in a Wolverine Conference match up. Sturgis scored on the last play of the game for the second straight game, thanks to Beckett Lamb. ...... {LISTEN}. Lamb had 8 carries for 13 yards and the score and was also 6 of 26 for 133 yards. Dawson Miller had 3 receptions for 76 yards and lead the defense with 9 tackles. Gavin Lewis added 7 tackles and Lamb had 6 stops. Sturgis is now 0-7 and 0-5 in the Wolverine Conference. Vicksburg is 3-4 and 2-3.
