(NEW BUFFALO) – Mendon went on the road and won their season opener, 60-0 over New Buffalo in 8 man football. Owen Gorham had 8 carries for 65 yards and 5 touchdowns. J.T. Lux had 8 carries for 118 yards and Nic Stiver recovered a fumble and returned it 87 yards for a score. Owen Gorham and Mason Wilczynski each had seven tackles for the Hornets.
