Constantine boys, girls run at D-3 Track Regional

Constantine boys finish third at Div. 3 Regional Meet
(HILLSDALE) – The Constantine boys track team participated in the Division 3 Regional at Hillsdale High School and finished third. Several members are moving on to the State Finals, including Bennett VandenBerg who was first in the shot put and the discus. Brody Jones finished second in the pole vault and will move on to the State finals. He was also part of the 800 meter relay team with Isaac Moore, Rushawn James and Logan Patmalnieks who came in eighth but qualified with the time requirement. Jones, Moore, James and Robbie King also qualified for the State finals win the 1600 meter relay team who came in sixth and met the time requirement. James was second in the 300 meter hurdles and third in the long jump and moves on to the State Finals in both events. Canon Manley finished third in the shot put and fourth in the discus and advances to the State Finals in both events. Michael Featherstone came in fifth in the 300 meter hurdles and qualifies for State, as does Robbie King who was fifth in the 800 meters.

Constantine girls tenth at D-3 Regional
(HILLSDALE) – The Constantine girls track team was in action at the Division 3 Regional meet at Hillsdale High School where they finished tenth, and had qualifiers to the State Meet. Kailee Jones finished third in the 800 meters and advances to the State Finals. Jaedyn Herlein was fourth in the 300 meter hurdles and will move on to the State Meet. She was also part of the second place 800 meter relay team with Kaitlyn Jones, Abigail Flores and Cassidy Walker that is advancing to the State Meet. Herlein, Kailee Jones, Kaitlyn Jones and Flores also were third in the 1600 meter relay and will run at the State Finals.
