(ALBION) – Drug charges have been filed against a Fort Wayne woman.
Noble County Superior Court officials say 35 year old Krystyl Bounket is charged with dealing methamphetamine and dealing cocaine, both with enhancing circumstances. That is due to a prior conviction of dealing in a controlled substance.
The Noble County Sheriff’s Office says deputies stopped Bounket Saturday night for speeding, and for driving on a suspended license. Deputies say she was driving 70 MPH in a 60 MPH zone.
Officers say Bounket told them there was marijuana and meth in her vehicle. A search located 7.4 grams of meth in her purse. They also found 7.3 grams of cocaine in three separate bags, along with 4.6 grams of marijuana. Just over $5,500 was found in a box in the driver’s side door.
Bounket told police she was a middle man and was on her way to a campground to deliver the merchandise.
Court officials say Bounket was convicted of dealing in a Schedule III controlled substance in 2011 and was sentenced to four years in jail.
