(CENTREVILLE) – A search committee has been approved to help find the next President for Glen Oaks Community College.

During Thursday’s meeting, the Glen Oaks Board of Trustees agreed to put together a Presidential search committee, made up of Board President Bruce Gosling along with Board members Joe Haas and Kim Bontrager.

The committee will put together information and request proposals in September, with plans to make a recommendation to the full Board on a search firm in October.

Dr. David Devier announced earlier this year that he would be retiring as Glen Oaks President in June 2024. Devier was hired as President in January 2014.
