(FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP) – The Michigan State Police are asking for help from the public with an investigation of an arson of a residence.

Troopers say they are investigating a suspicious residential structure fire that happened in the 51,000 block of Wetherbee Road in Flowerfield Township on December 1, 2022. The fire is believed to be started between 5:15 and 5:45 PM.

No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported.

The house did sustain significant damage to the main bedroom, and the main hallway. There was smoke damage through the main floor.
