(HOWELL) - Former Glen Oaks men's basketball coach David Victor has received a promotion at Cleary University. Cleary Athletic Director Max Ballinger has announced that Victor has been named the new Assistant Athletic Director for Communications, after serving as the school's Sports information Director for the last five years. In his expanded role, Victor will continue to oversee all athletic communications efforts, including media relations, strategic messaging, digital content, and brand management for Cleary University Athletics. Victor will also continue to oversee and maintain Cleary's athletic website, all home game statistics, and Cleary Athletic's social media presence. Since his arrival in 2021, Victor has played a key role in elevating the department's visibility through storytelling, social media growth, and comprehensive coverage of its programs and student-athletes. Ballinger says Victor has done an outstanding job telling the story of the athletic department and promoting the achievements of our student-athletes and coaches. He says Victor's creativity, professionalism, and vision have helped elevate Cleary's brand, and they are excited for his continued leadership in this new role.
