The Notre Dame womens basketball team clamped down on defense against U-Conn in the closing seconds to seal the win 81-76 and advance to the women’s national championship game.
The Huskies led by nine points with just under 8 minutes to go when the Irish turned it around with an 11-2 run to tie it at 66 with 4:25 remaining.
