Mookie Betts hits a grand slam home run to left, giving the Red Sox a 5-2 lead over the Toronto Blue Jays in the fourth. Eduardo Nunez, Sandy Leon and Jackie Bradley Jr. scored. Boston went on to win, 6-4.

It’s been awhile since we’ve talked about the Phillies being in first place. That’s where they stayed yesterday. Jorge Alfaro hits a solo home run to center, giving the Phillies a 5-0 lead over the Baltimore Orioles in the sixth. Philadelphia went on to win, 5-4.

On Thursday, Angelique Kerber defeated Jelena Ostapenko in straight sets, advancing to the Wimbledon Final. Kerber spoke with reporters after the match, saying winning the tournament would mean a lot to her.
