Westview won the Angola boys sectional title on Thursday. The Warriors edged Angola by a single point – 112-to-111. East Noble was third with 97. Lakeland tallied 44 points to finish seventh. Prairie Heights was ninth.

Lakeland 12, Garrett 1 – Lakers claim a share of the NECC title with the win. Nolan Isaacs lead the charge with 3 hits and 2Rbi's Drew Grossman got the pitching win going all 5 innings.

NHL PLAYOFFS:
Tampa Bay 4, Washington 2 Alex Killorn scores to give the Lightning a 3-2 lead over the Washington Capitals in game four of the Eastern Conference Finals. Tampa Bay went on to win, 4-2, to tie the series at 2 games a piece.

MLB:
White Sox 4, Texas 2 Wellington Castillo hits a two-run single to center, giving the A's a 4-2 lead over the Texas Rangers in the eighth. Chicago went on to win by that score.
Detroit 3, Seattle 2 Jose Iglesias hits an two-run single to center, giving the Tigers a 3-2 lead over the Seattle Mariners in the eighth. Detroit went on to win by that score.
