(ANGOLA) – Lakeland fell behind early, cut the deficit to four points in the second half, but lost to host Angola 82-64 in NECC boys basketball. Brayden Bontrager led the Lakers with 20 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out. Mason Douglas added 17 points and 3 steals while Bracey Shepherd had 13 points and 4 assists. ...... {LISTEN}. Joel Knox led the Hornets with 23 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Brian Parrish had 17 points and 7 rebounds. Lakeland ends the regular season at 9-13 overall and 5-6 in the NECC, and will play host West Noble next Friday in a Sectional semi-final game. Angola is 12-12, 7-4 in the conference and will take on Leo in a first-round Sectional game on Wednesday.
